
Wrocław Under the Stars – Music, Mystery & Cinema at Bastion Sakwowy
Kick off the summer with a magical evening of music, games, and open-air cinema on Friday, June 20 at Bastion Sakwowy! The event marks the start of the series “Historia. Kultura. Wrocław” — four cultural nights celebrating the city’s rich heritage.
17:30 — Urban Game: “Mock: The Past Returns”
Become a detective and investigate the mysterious disappearance of Greta Langer.
Set in noir-style Breslau, inspired by Marek Krajewski’s crime novels.

20:30 — Award Ceremony
Winners of the city game will be announced and celebrated.
21:00 — Live Concert: “Café Bodo – Charm of Pre-War Memories”
Performed by the Stoltzer Ensemble, a male vocal quartet.
Enjoy nostalgic melodies from 1930s cabarets in Warsaw and Lviv — elegant, sentimental, unforgettable.
22:00 — Open-Air Film: “Ashes and Diamonds” (1958)
A Polish cinema classic by Andrzej Wajda.
Follow a Home Army soldier navigating post-war chaos in Wrocław.
Screened on a large inflatable screen right after the concert.
Upcoming Evenings – Summer Series Continues
The next three events will take place on Saturdays — July 26, August 9, and August 30 — following a similar evening program:
- ~18:00 – Urban Game across the city center (no prior registration needed; simply use your smartphone and the ActionTrack app).
- ~21:00 – Open-air concert at Bastion Sakwowy featuring local music acts.
- ~21:45 – Spotlight presentation on a municipal cultural institution (multimedia projection + commentary).
- ~22:00 – Film intro with Wrocław ties, followed by an open-air screening on an inflatable screen by the fountain near Piotr Skarga Street balustrade.
- Limited seats: maximum of 300, so arrive early to secure your spot.
