As part of the Flamenco Evenings series, Rainer Maria Nero will perform at Sala Witrażowa, 1 Purkyniego Street. The Austrian virtuoso of classical and flamenco guitar is known for crossing genre boundaries and creating music charged with strong emotion.

About the artist and his music
Flamenco and the tradition of Spanish guitar form the starting point of Rainer Maria Nero’s work, yet his music is far from orthodox. He has developed an original, multi-layered style in which flamenco meets classical music, world music, jazz improvisation, and contemporary forms of expression. The result is an unexpected yet highly communicative musical language.

Rainer Maria Nero performs both solo and in various ensembles and projects, including the Carlos Piñana Group, Los Duendes, and ProFlamenco Trio. His concerts are marked by intense storytelling, dramatic flow, and a sense of intimacy.

The performance will present an original project connected to the album Kairos, a musical reflection on the moment, time, and intuition. Rainer Maria Nero will appear in a trio together with:

Christian Jelicic (keyboards), an artist moving freely between classical music, jazz, and world music,
Carlos Ronda Masa, a Spanish percussionist whose precision and rhythmic sensitivity provide a strong foundation for the ensemble’s improvised narrative.
