7 years ago, OP ENHEIM first opened the doors of the historic townhouse as an open house for culture. Although our heart beats for contemporary art, we do not forget the past - nurturing the memory of the place and maintaining a dialogue with history is a very important part of our activities. On 15 June, as part of the open days, we invite you to a series of free guided tours of the tenement with Renata Bardzik-Miłosz. There will also be an opportunity to visit, free of charge, the current exhibition ‘Do what you want’ - summarising the fifth edition of the OP_YOUNG mentoring programme for young female artists. There will also be workshops with artist Aneta Lewandowska and a lecture on herbalism by Justyna Pobiedzińska, as well as a relaxation zone in the Salt Square, an ice cream stand, an advertising and sales point with gadgets and books, and live music - the perfect backdrop for celebrating together.

As part of this year's Open Days | WE ARE OPEN, we have prepared a programme of free events, which will take place both on Plac Solny and inside the former Oppenheim House, which is now OP ENHEIM's headquarters.

Those who love the monuments and history of Wrocław are invited to take a walk with us through the renovated as well as the brand new spaces of the former Oppenheim House - all those willing to do so will be guided by Renata Bardzik-Miłosz, a respected guide from Wrocław. Before or after the walk through the building, we invite you to the relaxation zone on Plac Solny - an open space created for common celebration and a moment of rest in the very heart of the city. There will be comfortable seating, refreshments, an ice cream stand and live music (Magda Milewska Quartet). In addition, bags featuring the OP ENHEIM townhouse and books will be available for purchase.

In the intimate but rich programme of this year's Open Days, there will be no shortage of opportunities to get creative and listen to stories that grow from the earth - literally and figuratively. At noon, you will be invited to a workshop with Aneta Lewandowska, an artist exploring the concept of “home” as a space woven from relationships with nature, memory and everyday life. Together we will create textiles from leaves, twigs and urban finds - combining the sensibility of handicraft with the poetics of place.

In the afternoon, at 15:30, we will move to Polish meadows - the real and the imagined - during a lecture by herbalist Justyna Pobiedzińska. The meeting will be a journey through the tradition of herbalism, the secrets of poisonous plants and practical advice on how to collect and use herbs while respecting the rhythm of nature. On the programme - sensory contact with dried plants, a fragrant herbarium and stories woven from knowledge and experience.
