Daily Free Multimedia Fountain Shows

The Multimedia Fountain in Wrocław is the largest fountain in Poland and one of the biggest in Europe, located in the historic Wrocław Exhibition Grounds near the Centennial Hall and Wrocław Congress Centre. It covers an area of about 1 hectare and features 300 water jets, 800 computer-programmed colored lights, and 3 fire jets at the bottom of the basin.

The fountain offers spectacular multimedia shows combining water, music, light, and sometimes fire. These shows include dancing water jets synchronized with classical, contemporary, pop, and ambient music, featuring artists like Madonna, Daft Punk, and film scores by Hans Zimmer. Special night shows often include animations, photos, and films projected onto water screens, highlighting important events from Wrocław’s and Poland’s history.

The fountain operates seasonally from late April or early May until the end of October. Daily shows run every hour during the day from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with evening illuminated shows from 6:00 p.m. to 9:40 p.m. Special weekend shows with enhanced multimedia effects take place on Friday and Saturday evenings.

The Multimedia Fountain is a major tourist attraction, offering a unique and engaging experience for visitors of all ages. It is free to visit, with excellent viewing spots at the Pergola and nearby terraces, which also host bistros and restaurants for refreshments during the shows.
