Festival of Good Beer (Festiwal Dobrego Piwa)
The Wrocław Good Beer Festival is Poland’s largest and one of Europe’s biggest craft beer events, held annually at the Tarczyński Arena Wrocław. The festival showcases a vast selection of beers from small and medium-sized breweries from Poland and abroad, featuring hundreds of draught and bottled varieties including lagers, porters, stouts, sour ales, and IPAs. It offers a rich program with beer tastings, workshops, sensory training, and home brewing demonstrations, alongside a Beer Tourism Zone highlighting breweries, museums, and beer-related destinations.
The event also includes live music, DJ sets, a diverse food scene with street food and cooking shows, and a relaxed, family- and dog-friendly atmosphere. Admission is free, making it an accessible and affordable day out. The festival typically runs over three days in June, with opening hours extending from afternoon into late evening on Friday and full days on Saturday and Sunday.
Additional highlights include the Wrocław Brewers’ Workshops, beer competitions, a Beer Geek Zone, and a business fair connecting industry professionals. The festival has grown from a local gathering to an international event attracting visitors and exhibitors from across Europe. It is organized by the ZAMEK Cultural Centre and celebrated for its vibrant atmosphere, extensive beer selection, and educational opportunities for both enthusiasts and newcomers.
