Light // Shadow // Shadowlight — NFM Wrocław Philharmonic (Musica Polonica Nova)

Can music capture the difference between light and shadow? Find out at the highlight concert of the 35th Musica Polonica Nova festival in Wrocław. Flautist Łukasz Długosz and the NFM Wrocław Philharmonic, conducted by Geoffrey Paterson, perform five extraordinary contemporary works exploring the senses.

The programme includes the world premiere of Symphony of the Senses by festival composer-in-residence Jagoda Szmytka, Michał Ziółkowski’s award-winning Akhlys inspired by a shadowy Greek figure, Żaneta Rydzewska’s Fire, Marcel Chyrzyński’s flute concerto Ukiyo-e no. 2, and Adam Porębski’s live electronics premiere Postmuzyka.
