Chopin Recitals | Jonas Aumiller & Martin Garcia
Prizewinners of the International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw perform in a series of exceptional recitals presented by Chopin Recitals Wrocław.
It was in Wrocław that Frédéric Chopin gave one of only thirty public concerts in his lifetime. Chopin Recitals Wrocław was created to commemorate this remarkable moment in history by inviting the finest pianists of our time to perform in an intimate and inspiring setting.
The audience layout and камерal character of the concerts allow listeners to form a close connection with the artist, deepening the musical experience. For each recital, guests may also choose a ticket that includes an elegant banquet. During the reception, the audience has the opportunity to meet the artist personally, enjoy refined finger food, and savor an unlimited selection of wines in the magnificent Baroque interior of the Oratorium Marianum.
The concerts take place in the historic Oratorium Marianum, located in the heart of Wrocław. For centuries, this ceremonial hall of the University of Wrocław has been renowned for its superb acoustics and has served as one of Europe’s most distinguished concert venues. In the nineteenth century it welcomed such legendary artists as Johannes Brahms, Franz Liszt, Niccolò Paganini, Anton Rubinstein, Clara Schumann, and Henryk Wieniawski.
Chopin Recitals Wrocław seeks to revive the spirit of the nineteenth-century salon concerts once given by great virtuosos and composers such as Frédéric Chopin and Franz Liszt. These exclusive gatherings, attended by aristocracy and cultural elites, offered an atmosphere of refinement and direct artistic connection. In contrast to the scale of many modern music events, these recitals restore intimacy, allowing the audience to experience music in its most personal form and to meet the artist individually during the accompanying banquet.
