IMANY – „Women Deserve Rage Tour”

With her distinctive, powerful and radiant voice, Imany has been a commanding presence on stage for over a decade, delivering performances of striking intensity that blend profound lyrics with vibrant energy beyond musical boundaries. After conquering audiences worldwide with her Voodoo Cello project — performing more than 100 concerts across Europe and beyond — Imany returns with her highly anticipated new album Women Deserve Rage and a tour that will visit four Polish cities: Gdańsk, Warsaw, Wrocław and Kraków.

Women Deserve Rage is a bold and compelling work that resonates as a manifesto of emancipation and rebirth. Born from a deep need to reclaim her truth, the album carries the voice of a woman choosing to rise in freedom. It captures a moment in a woman’s life when she not only accepts her anger, but also claims the right to express it in a society that too often seeks to control and silence women.

Imany is a voice you recognize instantly — deep, luminous and authentic. Born in the Comoros Islands, she has established herself as one of the most distinctive vocalists on the French and international music scene, blending soul, folk and pop with remarkable intensity. Her name, meaning “faith” in Swahili, reflects her journey: a free-spirited woman who, after a brief career as a model in New York, returned to Paris to write, compose and sing, gradually filling concert halls with her quiet strength. Since her platinum-selling debut album The Shape of a Broken Heart in 2011, she has reached a wide international audience with songs such as “You Will Never Know.”

Her global success continued with The Wrong Kind of War (2016), which achieved platinum status in France and double platinum internationally. At the same time, her hit single “Don’t Be So Shy” (Filatov & Karas remix) earned diamond certification in France and eight-times diamond internationally, amassing hundreds of millions of streams worldwide.

In 2021, she introduced Voodoo Cello, an ambitious project intertwining her voice with the harmonies of eight cellos. Reimagining pop classics from Radiohead to Madonna, she created intense, hypnotic interpretations. This unique dialogue between strings and voice led to a worldwide tour of more than 100 performances.

Following the releases of “I Am Who I Am” and “Mad,” Imany unveiled the powerful single “When It Comes,” heralding the arrival of Women Deserve Rage, released on October 24, 2025. The album is both intimate and universal — a project born from an essential need to reclaim truth and embrace rebirth in freedom.
