Wrocław Gnome Festival 2026
Wroclaw’s city centre turns into a fairy-tale land for the Wroclaw Gnome Festival, two days of parades, concerts, workshops and family attractions built around the city’s iconic gnome statues.
On Friday, September 11, the Great Wroclaw Gnome Parade sets off at 10:00 AM from the Pregierz pillory on the Market Square and proceeds to the Old Town Garden (Ogrod Staromiejski), led by stilt-walkers, performers and mascots from local schools and kindergartens.
On Saturday, September 12, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the Old Town Garden hosts a full day of family activities across two stages: theatrical performances, concerts, a magic show, breakdancing and beatboxing shows, Zumba classes, styling zones for festival makeup and gnome hat decoration, food trucks and partner stands.
This year’s edition focuses on ecological education and the role of water in the environment, with the Hydropolis Ecological Education Center as the main partner. Contests include a decorated gnome houses competition and a best gnome costume contest, plus two open board game tournaments with limited spots.
Admission is free.
