WROsound Festival

WROsound is an annual summer music festival held in Wrocław, Poland, primarily taking place at the square in front of the Impart building. It has been running for over 15 years and originally focused on showcasing the distinctive “Wrocław sound” by featuring local artists who shape the city’s musical identity. Over time, the festival expanded to include international performers while maintaining a strong local music presence, often curated by prominent figures from the Wrocław music scene.

The festival is known for its unique concept of transforming the urban space into an “urban jungle,” symbolizing both the physical setting and the eclectic mix of musical styles presented. It features two stages: a main stage and an alternative stage dedicated to local artists under the banner “Tak Brzmi Wrocław” (“This is how Wrocław sounds”). The music ranges from rap, jazz experiments, trip-hop, refined electronic music, to various forms of alternative and singer-songwriter genres
