VAN GOGH – A Modern Ballet Performance
A ballet that feels like watching a film about art
This is not a traditional ballet – it is a multimedia spectacle that immerses you in light, music, and emotions. Professional dancers, innovative choreography, original music, and LED visualizations turn the stage into a living canvas of Van Gogh.
“VAN GOGH” is a fresh and captivating encounter with art that goes beyond tradition – moving, unique, and unforgettable. If you have never been to a ballet before, this is the perfect one to start with.
The performance combines modern choreography with multimedia stage design, creating a feast of colors, music, and light. LED projections transform the stage into Van Gogh’s most famous paintings – from Sunflowers to Wheatfield with Crows – bringing his world to life before your eyes.
Music is composed by Gabriel Kaczmarek, an acclaimed Polish composer whose works have been performed over 400 times worldwide and awarded at the Global Music Awards in Los Angeles.
Choreography is created by Viktor Davydiuk, an internationally recognized choreographer who has worked in Europe and the United States, known for adapting classical ballet into a contemporary movement language.
The cast features an international ensemble of dancers from Italy, Spain, Poland, and Ukraine, whose diverse backgrounds and artistic sensitivity add a global energy to the show.
Costumes designed by Karolina Grzeszczuk capture the atmosphere of Van Gogh’s era, while multimedia projections by Karolina Mikołajczuk immerse the audience in the painter’s masterpieces.
“VAN GOGH” is more than a performance – it is an emotional journey through the life and work of one of the greatest artists in history, created in Poland in collaboration with Cortiqué Theatre in Poznań.
