The Syntetic a.d. 2026

The Syntetic (also known as Miszcz Pawarotti or Człowiek Widmo)
A one-man amateur music project by Dariusz Pakuła from Świętochłowice. In his lyrics, often chaotic and full of surreal humor, he tells various stories inspired among other things by fairy tales and science fiction. A distinctive feature of Pakuła’s vocals is his strong Silesian accent, though he only occasionally uses actual Silesian vocabulary. As a musical backdrop, The Syntetic uses old synth-pop, dance and techno hits. He used to record his tracks on cassette tapes, which were passed around among friends. After a while, someone posted samples of his work online, where they became popular. Pakuła initially didn’t believe in his own popularity, convinced his friends were mocking him. He was only convinced once he started performing publicly. He has played club stages all over the country, as well as appearances at renowned festivals including OFF Festival, Great September, and Zacieralia.
