The Phantom Carriage — NFM Organ Cinema with Michał Kocot
Close out July in Wrocław with a haunting NFM Organ Cinema screening. Victor Sjöström’s 1921 Swedish masterpiece The Phantom Carriage — the film that inspired Ingmar Bergman and is considered one of the greatest silent films ever made — comes to the big screen in the ORLEN Main Hall, accompanied by a live improvisation by organist Michał Kocot.
Based on a Selma Lagerlöf novel, the film weaves a ghostly tale of redemption on New Year’s Eve. A powerful cinematic and musical experience — not to be missed on a summer evening at the National Forum of Music.
