Szkocka Trupa in Wrocław – Album Release Concert

Three Concerts, in Three Days, in Three Cities – a real triptych, and quite a hot topic lately. The “Triptych” marks the start of the tour promoting the new album: Henryk Czekała “Szkot” & “Szkocka Trupa” titled “Moje Ukochane” (“My Beloved Ones”). Yes, don’t worry — you’ll be able to buy this beautiful release on site, and there will even be a chance for an autograph, at Stary Klasztor on Purkyniego Street (ul. Jana Ewangelisty Purkyniego 1, 50-150 Wrocław).

The event will take place as part of another edition of the Shanty Season Opening, featuring EKT-Gdynia and Mechanicy Shanty, preceded by a short preview performance of a few songs from the album “Moje Ukochane” by Henryk Czekała “Szkot” & “Szkocka Trupa”, released just a week earlier. This will be the first premiere concert following the world premiere in Bytom, which will take place on September 25, 2026 at the Rozbark Theatre.

The event won’t be limited to the concert alone — there will also be a vernissage of an exhibition of drawings by Grzegorz Chudy, featured on the album cover, titled “Watercolour Gallery.” Chudy is a well-known Silesian artist who portrays Silesia through his own eyes; here he depicts, among other things, the city beloved by the band’s frontman — Bytom, where he was born and has lived his whole life, and which he sings about on the album in the song titled “Miasto” (“City”).

Doors open at 6:00 PM. Come early to see Grzegorz’s wonderful paintings, grab a good spot, and get in the mood before the concert. You are warmly and enthusiastically invited!
