Strachy Na Lachy to play in Wroclaw!
wROCKfest.pl invites you on October 3 to Stary Klasztor for a club concert by Strachy Na Lachy, featuring a cross-section of material from across the band’s career.
Strachy Na Lachy was formed in 2001 by Grabaż and Kozak, founders of Pidżama Porno. The original lineup was rounded out by bassist Lo and guitarist Mariusz Nalepa. In 2003 the band signed with the independent label SP Records, adding Kuzyn on drums and Anem on keyboards; their debut album followed that December.
Subsequent acclaimed albums include “Piła Tango” (featuring the song “Dzień Dobry Kocham Cię”), the Kaczmarski tribute project “Zakazane Piosenki”, and “Autor” – the latter a major critical success that earned Grabaż the Polityka Passport award in January 2008.
Their sixth studio album, “Przechodzień o Wschodzie”, was released on September 29, 2017, echoing the sound of the band’s debut. During the pandemic in 2020, Grabaż wrote the songs that became the band’s most recent album, “Piekło”, which leans more heavily on electronic sounds and keyboards than guitars. The album was promoted with two videos directed by Sławek Pietrzak, “Niebotańczne Niebowstąpienie” and “Zachmurzony w Tobie”, and was released on October 1, 2021.
October 3, 2026, 8:00 PM – Gothic Hall, Stary Klasztor, ul. Purkyniego 1
