St. John’s Night 2026 – Wrocław City Festival | Leśnica

St. John’s Night in Leśnica has a long tradition. It was first organised in the mid-1970s and, with short breaks, continues to this day. Thanks to its attractive format and rich programme, it is one of the largest open-air events in terms of attendance organised by OPT Zamek. This year the event will take place on Saturday, 20 June.

The event’s programme refers to ancient Slavic traditions connected with the summer solstice. Key elements include weaving and floating wreaths. The theme of the 2026 edition is “Roots” – understood both as a reference to cultural heritage and to the relationship between people and nature.

St. John’s Night is held as part of the Wrocław City Festival – a city-wide programme of cultural events organised by the City of Wrocław in cooperation with cultural institutions, NGOs and social partners. The event is part of the official City Festival programme, which aims to showcase Wrocław’s cultural potential, bring residents together and create open, accessible and free artistic activities.

// Below is a preliminary schedule of the event. The detailed programme with exact times will be announced soon. //

MAIN STAGE (AMPHITHEATRE)
Concerts by: Lunaria, Tuleje, Lorien (choir)

Lunaria – trance-like melodies, multi-part songs and women’s stories recorded in old texts – Lunaria’s concert will be a musical journey into the world of tradition retold anew.

Tuleje will take the audience into a musical world that defies genre conventions – raw, hypnotic and yet remarkably melodic.
