Rzeka — Concert

There are sounds that flow. There are also ones that change direction.

Rzeka (“River”) is a band whose music is hard to fit into a single genre. Music that doesn’t stay on one bank.

Drums set the current. Saxophone opens the space. Vocals lead the story, and a single instrument — a guitar that doubles as bass — creates two parallel currents, weaving low and high, pulse and melody together.

This is music that doesn’t try to be one particular thing. It just flows. Sometimes calmly, sometimes violently. Sometimes wide and spacious, sometimes close, almost a whisper.

The river meanders. It doesn’t ask where it should flow. Maybe that’s exactly why it’s hard to describe. You can only listen to it. There is no single mouth of the river — every time it flows a little differently.

It’s not about knowing where it flows. It’s about stepping into the water. Join the current.
