Ratha Yatra Festival 2026 – Wrocław Festival of Chariots

The Festival of Chariots — Ratha Yatra — returns to Wrocław’s Old Town on Saturday 27 June 2026, starting from Plac Solny at 13:00. One of the world’s most ancient religious and cultural festivals, celebrated for centuries in India, Ratha Yatra has been brought to the streets of Western cities since 1967 by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness.

In Wrocław, the festival features a colourful chariot procession around the Old Town Market Square, departing from Plac Solny at 13:00 and returning by 15:00. This is followed by a rich stage programme on Plac Solny from 15:15 to 19:30, featuring live music, traditional Indian dances, cultural presentations and free prasadam (sanctified vegetarian food) for all participants.

The event is entirely free of charge and open to everyone — families, children and all curious visitors are warmly welcome to join the procession and celebrations. Organized by Ratha Yatra Poland and the Hare Krishna Temple in Wrocław.
