Ethno Jazz Festival presents the Polish premiere of Nouvelle Vague’s latest project. On January 31, in the Gothic Hall at Stary Klasztor, the French collective will perform songs by Depeche Mode, reinterpreted in their signature style.

With their seventh album, Nouvelle Vague rediscover their musical identity, dedicating an entire record to the work of a single band for the first time: Depeche Mode. Thirteen iconic songs have been re-recorded and reinterpreted by new voices. Recorded in Rio de Janeiro with top Brazilian musicians, the album creates a dialogue between the musical soul of Brazil and the timeless world of Depeche Mode, refreshed in Nouvelle Vague’s distinctive style.

The first single from “A Date With Depeche Mode” is a duet version of “Enjoy the Silence” featuring Skye Edwards (Morcheeba) and Larry Love (Alabama 3) – two voices, two worlds, one song.
