Wrocław, get ready for a weekend full of oriental beauty and Japanese magic! On 30–31 May 2026, Hala Stulecia transforms into a vibrant hub of Japanese and Asian culture as Ningyo – Festival of Japan and Asian Culture arrives in one of Poland’s most iconic venues.
Ningyo is one of Poland’s most popular and fastest-growing Japanese cultural events, drawing tens of thousands of visitors each year to major cities across the country. The Wrocław edition at Hala Stulecia marks the festival’s largest-ever presence in the city.
Over two packed days, the festival offers something for everyone: browse products you won’t find anywhere else at 50+ stalls offering original goods imported from Japan — from manga, ceramics and kimono to Japanese knives, katana, matcha, cosmetics and artisan crafts. Enjoy authentic Japanese street food at the gastro zone — ramen, sushi, takoyaki, taiyaki, dango, okonomiyaki and more.
The rich stage programme spans over 16 hours and includes geisha dance performances, full-contact samurai battles in armour, kendo and iaido demonstrations, traditional Japanese dance and music concerts, live cooking shows featuring Japanese cuisine, Japanese language workshops for travellers, and presentations on Japanese board games, vinyl records and pop culture.
The festival is open to all ages and is ideal for families, Japan enthusiasts, fans of anime and pop culture, foodies and anyone curious about one of the world’s most fascinating cultures. Children under 6 enter free.
