New Opening of Stary Klasztor: Three Levels of Music

Stary Klasztor — one of the most important music clubs in Wrocław and all of Poland — is about to add a new level and a new concert stage.

Joining the already familiar Gothic Hall, Stained Glass Hall, and the Stary Klasztor restaurant is a new musical offering: the Stary Klasztor Cellar (Piwnica Starego Klasztoru).

On Saturday, September 26, fans of good music are invited to the New Opening of Stary Klasztor! Concerts will take place across three levels of the venue, headlined by HURT, one of Wrocław’s most popular bands, long associated with Stary Klasztor and known across Poland for their hit “Załoga G.”

HURT will play a full club show, long awaited in their home city. Also appearing is the “Let’s Rock! – Legendy Rocka” project, presenting rock anthems from many generations in arrangements close to the originals, with songs by AC/DC, Queen, The Rolling Stones, Guns N’ Roses, Nirvana, U2, Bon Jovi, Pink Floyd, and Led Zeppelin.

Between and after the concert sets, the audience is invited to sing along to the biggest hits of Polish rock and the best songs about girls, plus dance-floor favourites. The evening will be hosted by the WrocLove Band crew, led by Marek “Sting” Popow, familiar to audiences from many previous Stary Klasztor concerts.

Live music will also fill the ground floor — the Stary Klasztor restaurant and its outdoor garden — all at one address: Purkyniego 1. One ticket covers all events within the New Opening, and bars will be open on every level.
