Natalia Kukulska – trasa jubileuszowa
On the eve of her fiftieth birthday, Natalia Kukulska announces an exceptional jubilee tour. This autumn she will perform in Katowice, Kraków, Gdańsk, Warsaw, Bielsko-Biała, Wrocław and Poznań. The artist announces that during these events she will return, with detachment and tenderness, to songs not performed at concerts for years, which the audience came to love!
Natalia Kukulska is without doubt one of the most recognisable vocalists on the Polish music market. She has recorded fifteen solo albums, which together have sold over a million copies. She has won dozens of awards and distinctions. She has performed on the biggest stages both in Poland and around the world. She breaks conventions, is not afraid of challenges, while remaining true to herself, which is why for years she has maintained her status as one of the most important figures in Polish culture. It is exactly thirty years since the premiere of her debut “adult” album Światło, while forty years ago her first children’s album – Natalia – was released. The artist herself is celebrating her fiftieth birthday.
This retrospective and sentimental meeting will reveal a completely new quality, because the pieces from the albums the vocalist has recorded so far will be dressed in rich musical medleys. The audience will hear the contents of cult albums that, at the turn of the 1990s, defined the sensibility of an entire generation. Natalia will also return to the albums Sexi Flexi and Czułe struny, and will not forget the songs sung for Disney cartoons and feature films. The cherry on the jubilee cake will be a wink to the children’s hits for which she was awarded the first platinum record in the history of the Polish recording industry!
Musically, the tour will gain a new dimension thanks to an expanded line-up and collaboration with the Atom String Quartet, which will give the new performances elegance and a fresh sound. An important element of the project will be conscious references to the wonderful 1990s – from the visuals, through scenographic details, to archival materials and memories of those times.
“The jubilee tour is a celebration for me, to which I would like to invite all the listeners who have accompanied me over these years… From the beginning of my path, from the children’s stage, through the 1990s up to today, including Czułe struny. Regardless of when they listened to my music. I was afraid of the word ‘jubilee’, as it is a kind of summing-up… But why not sum up everything I am grateful happened…, that is the purest feeling,” says Natalia, inviting everyone to her exceptional concerts.
The tour is organised by the Poznań concert agency Good Taste Production.
