Model and model railroad exhibition

This is the second time we invite the Residents of Wroclaw and tourists visiting our city to the summer exhibition in the series Summer on the Pergola.The exhibition will be held in the Centennial Hall, in the complex of the Wroclaw Congress Center.

We invite you on August 22-24, Friday from 16.00-22.00, Saturday 12.00-22.00.00 and Sunday 12.00-18.00.We will present you with an exhibition of railroad mock-ups and a dynamic demonstration of trains, railroad models, on a scale of 1:87, more commonly referred to in railroad modeling as H0.

The mock-up consists of stations from all over Poland: Bielsk Podlaski, Włoszakowice, Żukowo Zachodnie, Głuszyca. It will be complemented by a trail siding with a liquid fuel reloading base, a brewery siding, and two shunting stations for trains.

On the presented railroad layout you will be able to see mock-ups that are realistic representations of existing railroad stations, sidings, trails. There will also be fictional elements, own modeling projects, hardily modeled on the existing, real, railroad infrastructure.

The exhibition will feature railroads in a “nutshell”, trains running from the 1920s to modern times. The trains will be run by rolling stock from all periods of railroads, from steam traction to diesel traction to electric traction and the trains presented will represent real depots to the maximum extent possible.

A cyclical special attraction of our events is a parade of steam locomotives. The parade will take place on Saturday around 7 p.m. The plan is to drive vehicles from the steam era through the entire layout, from Wroclaw Brochow station to Torun station. We will present vehicles of various designs that ran fast, passenger and freight trains, moving not only on Polish railroad routes.

We have planned for you a layout with a total length of 127 meters consisting of four stations, two freight sidings, two technical stations and a large number of running trains.
