Linear Memory | Michał Sieczka – Multimedia Exhibition

Can time be read from the fabric of matter? Can organic growth be translated into the language of technology?

“Linear Memory” is a multimedia exhibition by Michał Sieczka, operating at the intersection of the natural environment, digital data processing and analogue methods of recording. The artist reflects on the impermanence of the trace, the memory of matter, and the relationship between linear and cyclical time.

In the works on display, the structure of wood ceases to be merely a visual form. It becomes a living record of biological processes — a carrier of memory and a witness to the transformations occurring in nature. The exhibition invites visitors to examine the boundary between the organic and the technological, and to ask questions about how information is stored and read in the contemporary world.

Michał Sieczka (born 2003 in Kluczbork) studies Media Art at the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław. His practice combines traditional techniques with new media, creating work at the crossroads of animation, photography, video and installation. He is particularly interested in the relationship between the micro and macro worlds, and the tension between nature and technology — drawing inspiration from years of observing forests and a childhood spent in a forester’s lodge.

Following the opening, visitors are invited to Klub Łącznik for the FlowerPower Jamfest open stage session (from 20:00).
