Krzysztof’s Birthday at Stary Klasztor!

“PAROSTATKIEM W PIĘKNY REJS…” (“By Steamboat on a Beautiful Cruise…”), or KRZYSZTOF’S BIRTHDAY at Stary Klasztor!

Early September marks the milestone 80th birthday anniversary of the sorely missed master of the Polish stage, known to several generations of audiences for his immortal hits such as “Parostatek”, “Za tobą pójdę jak na bal” and “Jak minął dzień”.
To mark the occasion, Stary Klasztor invites you on 11 September to a special concert titled KRZYSZTOF’S BIRTHDAY, featuring well-known hits: “Byle było tak”, “Pamiętam ciebie z tamtych lat”, “Byłaś tu”, “Chciałem być”, “Mój przyjacielu”, “Trudno tak (razem być nam ze sobą…)” and many other songs from the Artist’s wide repertoire.
During the musical “beautiful cruise” there will be plenty of opportunities for group singalongs of these timeless hits.

The birthday evening of memories will be led by:

Wojtek Dereń – musical-stage actor, vocalist. Winner of the 39th Review of Actor’s Song. For many years he collaborated with the Wrocław Opera, Teatr Muzyczny Capitol, Teatr Ad Spectatores and Cloud Theater. He leads a project dedicated to the memory of Grzegorz Ciechowski, with which he performs on many stages across the country.

Michał Bober – known to audiences from the latest edition of The Voice of Poland, where he captivated the coaches with his voice. He became fascinated with music already in childhood, when his mother brought cassettes of the world’s biggest stars back from Canada. He also studied vocal technique in Moscow. Initiator and lead vocalist of musical tribute projects to Zbigniew Wodecki, Andrzej Zaucha and Wojciech Młynarski.

Damian Szewczyk – one of the best Wrocław vocalists, known to audiences from numerous club concerts as well as major stages – the Guitar World Record event and the WOŚP finale. Creator of the solo project Basem i Barytonem.

Nikola Warda – a vocalist from Legnica who is tying her future to music, which is her whole life. Participant in the programmes “Bitwa Na Głosy”, “Mam Talent” and “Szansa Na Sukces”. Known to concert audiences from the musical series “Damy Rocka”.

The vocalists will be accompanied by a band of outstanding musicians associated with Stary Klasztor, under the artistic direction of Marek Popow.
