Kovacs announces a new album and tour — and in 2027 we’ll hear her in Poland! Sharon Kovacs, one of the most distinctive and uncompromising artists on the European scene, returns to Poland. Around the turn of February and March 2027 she plays four unique concerts presenting material from her upcoming, electronics-driven album. Tickets are already on sale.

Sharon Kovacs is a vocalist with a distinctive dark, soulful tone. Conservatory-trained in Tilburg and first taking the stage at open-mic nights in Eindhoven, she quickly forged her own style — blending icons like Betty Davis, Etta James and Tina Turner with the nostalgic mood of Amy Winehouse, Shirley Bassey and Portishead. Her breakthrough came in 2014 with the My Love EP; her debut album Shades of Black (2015) topped the Dutch chart, leading to festivals including Pinkpop, Rock Werchter, Glastonbury and Sziget.

Following Cheap Smell (2018) and Child of Sin (2023, featuring a duet with Rammstein’s Till Lindemann), Kovacs will release a long-awaited album in late 2026 that, for the first time, makes electronic music the foundation of her sound — drawing on the industrial intensity of Berlin techno, old-school electro and the futurism of pioneers like Kraftwerk.
