Kielichy LP ‘Sawant’ Release Party + Strangers in Name + Olgha
The band Kielichy warmly invites you to the release party for their debut LP.
KIELICHY — a Wroclaw-Krakow quintet that has gone through several stylistic transitions (documented by their previous two EPs — s/t and Punkty Plonace), but each incarnation shares a common denominator: a mood located somewhere between melancholy and ecstasy, and fervent, introspective lyrics. The band’s sound is built on a trance-like rhythm section, expressive guitars and unconventional arrangements. On stage the band becomes one breathing organism, and every concert is played as if it were the last. The Kielichy debut LP SAWANT will be released on 13 June. On their latest material the band presents itself in its most intense, almost ritualistic form.
STRANGERS IN NAME — a new duo (supported by Oskar Karski on saxophone) emerging from the depths of the Warsaw underground. Emotional lyrics dressed in intricate compositions create a mystery that promises a deep journey worth your attention. Their debut System of Release is an experience of wailing saxophone, rusted voices and torn guitars.
OLGHA — a solo Italian-Polish musical project by Olgierd Ferenc. Olgha’s concerts are a unique experience for fans of retro sounds from the 1980s and dark atmospheres. The artist combines melancholic elements of minimal synth-pop with the depth of darkwave. Song lyrics are written in both Italian and Polish, reflecting the dual identity of the project. Olgha recently joined the label Stanze Fredde.
