Jarmark Świętojański 2026 – St. John’s Fair
From 22 May to 28 June 2026, the heart of Wrocław transforms into a vibrant, flower-filled summer fair inspired by the ancient Slavic tradition of the Midsummer Night (Noc Świętojańska). Jarmark Świętojański — St. John’s Fair — is one of the city’s most beloved annual events, drawing residents and visitors alike to the Market Square and surrounding streets for over a month of open-air commerce, culture and celebration.
Around 80 wooden market stalls line Rynek wokół Pręgierza, ul. Świdnicka and ul. Oławska, offering original handmade crafts, artisan jewellery, regional delicacies, seasonal flowers, folk art, aromatics and unique souvenirs from Lower Silesia and beyond. The gastronomic zone serves traditional Polish dishes alongside international cuisines, refreshing drinks and sweet treats.
New for 2026: intimate live music concerts (folk, acoustic, local artists); świętojańskie plaże — relaxation zones with sand, deckchairs and greenery; floral architecture around Pręgierz pillar; photo booths; and wreath-weaving workshops for adults and children. The fair features a full programme of Sunday events including children’s entertainment (31 May), a concert by Servoos Street (7 June), an acoustic music showcase (14 June), and the grand Floral Competition gala on 21 June with Mistress of Floristry Agnieszka Mirko-Guderian.
Open daily from 10:00. Free entry.
