Jaguś / Szczęsny / Łęczycki at Vertigo

Three musicians who reinterpret the finest musical traditions of the 1960s, 70s, and 80s in their own unique style. They first met nearly two decades ago, when Hubert, still a teenager, would regularly sit in the audience at concerts by Jacek and Bartek of JJ Band, imagining what it would be like to play alongside them. Fifteen years later, the JAGUŚ / SZCZĘSNY / ŁĘCZYCKI trio was formed.

The musical style of these three “Sultans of Swing” can be summed up in the words of one of the greatest bluesmen, Willie Dixon: “Blues is the roots, and the rest of the music is the fruits.”
In their arrangements of both original compositions and covers, they draw inspiration from artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Prince, The Rolling Stones, and Bob Dylan.
