IMANY – WOMEN DESERVE RAGE

In April 2027 Imany will appear at concerts in Poland with material from her latest album Women Deserve Rage! Valued for her charismatic voice and emotion-filled performances, the artist has recorded a powerful work that sounds like a manifesto of emancipation and rebirth. Born of an essential need to reclaim her own truth, it carries the voice of a woman determined to be reborn in freedom.

Imany is a voice recognisable at once – deep, radiant and full of truth. Originally from the Comoros, the artist has over the years established her position as one of the most distinctive vocalists not only of the French but also of the international music scene. She combines soul, folk and pop with extraordinary intensity. Her name, which in Swahili means “faith”, already tells a story in itself: the story of a free woman who, after a brief period working as a model in New York, returned to Paris to write, compose and sing – gradually filling stages with her quiet strength. Since her 2011 debut album The Shape of a Broken Heart, which achieved platinum status around the world, Imany has reached a wide audience thanks to such tracks as You Will Never Know.

She confirmed her global popularity with the release The Wrong Kind of War (2016). It went platinum in France and double platinum abroad. At the same time the artist achieved worldwide success with the single Don’t Be So Shy (Filatov & Karas remix) – it achieved diamond status in France and eight-times diamond status internationally, reaching hundreds of millions of plays around the world. In 2021 she presented Voodoo Cello – a bold project in which her vocals interweave with the harmonies of eight cellos. Returning to pop classics – from Radiohead to Madonna – she offered intense, hypnotic reinterpretations. This unique dialogue between strings and voice resulted in a world tour comprising over a hundred performances.
After releasing I Am Who I Am and Mad, Imany returned with a new, captivating single When it Comes. It heralded the long-awaited album Women Deserve Rage (released 24 October 2025). It is a slice of the life of a woman who not only accepts the anger within her but also demands the right to it in a society that constantly tries to control and silence her sex.
