Igor Herbut – Żeremie
It will be a very intense and fruitful autumn for Igor Herbut and his listeners. After two warmly received singles, the artist has officially announced the Żeremie tour, which begins shortly after the release of his second, solo album of the same name.
Although the musician has hardly been idle in recent years, fans had to wait six years for his new record. Besides performing actively both solo and with the band LemON, Igor has been involved in managerial support for young talents – he is behind the steadily developing careers of Sara James and Livka. He also took part in numerous artistic projects: Męskie Granie Orkiestra 2025 and collaborations with, among others, Miuosh, sanah, Natalia Szroeder, Maryla Rodowicz and Kasia Lins.
As Herbut announces, the new album will be a kind of continuation of his debut Chrust. Its title refers to its predecessor – not literally, but symbolically. Brushwood (chrust), the basic building material of a beaver lodge (Żeremie – the beavers’ home built on water, protecting them from predators and cold), can be read as a metaphor for the process of creating, of shaping one’s own space and seeking shelter. Żeremie is another record of Herbut’s intimate experiences and observations, though gathered at a different moment in life. The album will contain twelve tracks and, as with his first solo project, Igor is responsible for the music, lyrics and production alike.
