HÉR – Monochrome

HÉR — “Monochrome” · NIETOTA, Wrocław · 18 November 2026, 8:00 PM

HÉR is a Tricity band operating at the meeting point of Nordic and Slavic folk, jazz, improvisation and experimental music. The group’s music grows out of trance, raw rhythm and deep throat singing, drawing inspiration from Old Norse wisdom poetry and the world of Northern mythology.

Violin, saxophone, synthesisers, bass, extensive percussion and voices create an intense sound balancing between silence and a mighty wall of sound, melancholy and violence, ritual and improvisation.

In January 2026 the French label Season of Mist released HÉR’s debut album “Monochrome” — a seven-part story about extremes: light and shadow, fire and ice, strength and fragility.

On 18 November HÉR will present material from “Monochrome” live at Wrocław’s NIETOTA club.

HÉR: Tomasz Chyła — vocals, violin, synthesiser, percussion; Maciej Świniarski — vocals, percussion; Piotr Chęcki — saxophone, percussion; Tomasz Sadecki — bass guitar, synthesiser, percussion; Sławek Koryzno — drums, percussion.
