Heima + Midnight Swimmers (CZ)

Indie rock band Heima is going on tour to promote their latest single “Skaza”. Besides that song, they’ll play more than a dozen tracks from their previous records. On 12 November they’ll play Wrocław’s Nietota club. Joining them for an equal-billing show that day is the Czech indie rock band Midnight Swimmers!

HEIMA
Heima is a band from Łódź that has been active on the Polish alternative scene since 2017. While their music is most often labelled indie pop and guitar-driven alternative rock, you can clearly hear shoegaze influences and cooler, post-punk moods too.

Their music is above all about building atmosphere rather than chorus-driven flash. Melancholy isn’t decorative here – it’s a tool for sorting through emotions and a way of describing reality. Heima offer no simple theses or clear-cut comments. They build a collection of subtle observations and emotional tensions, leaving listeners plenty of room for their own interpretation. Their lyrics aptly capture generational anxiety, balancing intimate confessions with problems that affect us all. It’s a search for oneself amid everything and nothing – a proposition for listeners ready to pay attention. Fans value Heima above all for their honesty, on every level.

They have released the debut album “W domu” and two EPs that form a single whole, “Świat z tektury” and “Koniec Świata”. The band is currently working on their next album, which will also be the soundtrack to the eagerly awaited game Holstin.

MIDNIGHT SWIMMERS
Founded in London and now based in Prague, the band won recognition on the Czech indie scene with their debut EP “Oceans & Seas”. They went on to play Rock for People 2025 and reached the final of Radio Wave’s “Startér” talent competition. Their debut album “Odd Ones Out” was released in spring 2026. Their music is marked by indie-rock rhythms, melancholic ambient textures and intimate vocal lines that together create a sound oscillating between guitar energy and dreamy introspection.
