Grzegorz Ciechowski’s Birthday – Songs of Republika in Tribute to the Master

At the end of August falls the 69th anniversary of the birth of Grzegorz Ciechowski, a musician, composer and lyricist of immense merit for the Polish rock scene. On the eve of the anniversary, on 28 August, the Stary Klasztor club invites you to the Gothic Hall for a concert of songs by Republika – one of the most important bands on the contemporary Polish stage, led by the sorely missed Grzegorz Ciechowski. We wish to pay tribute to Mr Grzegorz by performing songs of his authorship, to preserve the memory of this fantastic artist. Ciechowski’s brilliant lyrics will be interpreted by Wojciech Dereń – a Wrocław musical-stage actor and vocalist, laureate of the 38th Actor’s Song Review in Wrocław. It will be a good evening.
