GLENN MILLER ORCHESTRA – Swinging Christmas

The legendary big-band ensemble the Glenn Miller Orchestra will once again visit Poland! The group, which over the years has delighted millions of listeners around the world, will perform its Christmas programme Swinging Christmas. It will be an unforgettable musical experience in which the magic of Christmas meets the timeless sound of swing. Founded by the brilliant composer and arranger Glenn Miller, the orchestra continues his legacy to this day, preserving its authenticity and still presenting incredible energy on stage.

There are concerts that you not only listen to but that transport the audience into a completely different world. This December, one of the most recognisable swing orchestras in the world will once again come to Poland. This time the artists will visit six cities – Glenn Miller’s greatest hits will resound: the unforgettable In the Mood, Moonlight Serenade, Chattanooga Choo Choo, Pennsylvania 6-5000, A String of Pearls and American Patrol.

The ensemble is made up of excellent instrumentalists and vocalists who convey the style of the original arrangements with extraordinary precision. Each concert is a journey back in time to the elegant ballrooms of the 1930s and 1940s, when swing was not only music but also a way of life. Over more than ninety years of activity, the orchestra has performed all over the world, earning the recognition of both audiences and critics. Its repertoire is a collection of pieces that have repeatedly topped the charts and remain to this day a symbol of class and musical excellence.
