This is not a concert with a film playing in the background, nor a film with live music. “Furia Gra Kino” (“Furia Plays Cinema”) is a single event in which image and sound intertwine into a journey deep into Silesia’s past — raw, smoky and more beautiful than you remember. Tickets for the Wrocław show are already on sale.

Who is Furia

Fans of heavy music need no introduction to this band. For years they have set new directions for the Polish metal scene and consistently pushed beyond its boundaries: they performed at Kraków’s National Stary Theatre in Jan Klata’s staging of “Wesele” (“The Wedding”), received a “Polityka” Passport nomination two years ago, and had “Księżyc milczy luty” named Album of the 25th Anniversary by Musick Magazine.

Where the project came from

“Furia Gra Kino” was born last year out of a collaboration with the Silesia Film Institution in Katowice, marking the 25th anniversary of the Silesian Film Archive — Poland’s only regional film archive. Only a handful of people saw it. Tickets sold out instantly, and no repeat performance was promised at the time.
