Etnobotanika at Odra-Pany

A farewell to summer.

Etnobotanika is a mysterious duo from Upper Silesia, standing with one foot firmly in electronic music and the other exploring samples and hip-hop, creating a unique style all their own. Their eyes and ears are turned to fragments of the past — pieces of old Polish films, half-forgotten TV series, snippets of more and less well-known domestic songs recorded years ago. In their live shows they present original compositions, often in new, more dance-oriented versions.

So far they’ve released three warmly received studio albums (“Fruwający Przestępca”, “Leśne Duchy”, “Kosmobotanika”) and one EP (“Wakizashi”), working with the labels The Very Polish Cut Outs and Superkasety Records.

Their talent has been recognized by, among others, Gazeta Wyborcza, which named Kosmobotanika one of the 20 best Polish albums of 2025 (No. 8), Quebonafide, who invited them to collaborate on the track “Echo” (included on his album “Północ/Południe”), and hundreds of thousands of listeners reflected in album and cassette sales (each album has sold close to 2,000 copies) as well as streaming and YouTube views (the Kosmobotanika album currently has over 300,000 views on that platform).
