Double Concerto Night – Wrocław Music | Wroclaw Summer Classics 2026

Double Concerto Night is a unique encounter with Wrocław Music — an evening in which two concertos by composer Wiesław Małucha are heard in a single sitting. Two separate worlds, two forces, two narratives — for violin and for piano — framed by a chamber orchestra.

The first part features the violin Wrocław Triptych — a work combining virtuosity, intensity of sound and expressive drama, in which the violin becomes the voice of a dramatic narrative. The solo part is performed by violinist Wiktoria Białostocka, a laureate of international competitions and an artist of distinctive stage presence and exceptional musical precision.

The second part of the evening belongs to the piano: the First Piano Concerto, where lyricism interweaves with energy and a modern formal structure. At the keyboard is Anastasia Bouria, a laureate of international competitions and a pianist of wide tonal range and impressive interpretative freedom.

The evening is completed by the Chamber Orchestra of the University Philharmonic in Wrocław, which lends these compositions their broad breath and symphonic depth.
