Dni Odry 2026 – Let’s Meet by the River
Let’s Meet by the River.
The tenth edition of Odra Days is coming up — four days of discovering the city from the water’s edge, with plenty going on both on and off the river.
The main highlight is the riverside picnic on May 23, from 12:00 to 18:00, at Xawery Dunikowski Boulevard. For a few hours, the river becomes the centre of it all — with live water sport shows like e-foil, flyboard and jetboard, a sailing presentation by the University School of Physical Education, and an impressive water rescue demonstration.
Free boat rides along the Odra will be running throughout the day, no booking needed — just turn up and catch a spot. Along the boulevard, dozens of stands hosted by local institutions, universities, organisations and river operators will be open, alongside activities for kids, casual animations, a skimboard zone and interactive maps to explore the area in a more playful way.
Food stalls will be serving local flavours, including the well-known Wrocław-style paprykarz.
In the late afternoon, Mikromusic takes the stage at 17:00, bringing a relaxed close to the day.
The programme stretches beyond Saturday. On May 21 and 22 at 17:00, Odra Centrum hosts open talks about the river, with free entry. Then on May 24, the city game “Odra Mission – Challenge Accepted” offers another way to explore, with details to be announced soon.
This year also brings attention to the natural side of the Odra, including its biodiversity and the story of the European pond turtle — Poland’s only native turtle species, found in the Odra basin.
It’s a good excuse to see the river from a different angle and spend some time by the water, whether actively or just at your own pace.
