Czech Burger Street Festival

The Burger Street Festival will be held on August 30-31 from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm at the Korona Shopping Center. This foodtruck event has been very popular in the Czech Republic for years. Now the festival will be held in Poland for the first time – right here in Wroclaw.

The festival map will feature more than 30 original burger offerings – from classics, through exotic flavor combinations, to unobvious original compositions. The festival organizer is committed to fair gastronomic standards. Exhibitors are expected to stick to the rule: each burger must be the same size – 100 grams of meat in a bun.

There will also be sweet touches and streetfood classics – there will be churros, macarons and snacks. Visitors will not only enjoy flavors from around the world, but also excitement and competition. Each participant will be able to vote for his or her burger favorite using a mobile app. It is the guests who will decide who will be awarded the medal – considered in the Czech Republic as an indicator of burger quality. Each participant who takes part in the voting has a chance to compete for attractive prizes worth PLN 1,000! The event’s program will also include competitions, including a competition in eating a giant burger or culinary demonstrations.

Among the exhibitors will be both established Czech foodtrucks and gastronomic gems from Wroclaw. “We are committed to ensuring that the voice of local burger streetfoods resonates strongly in each edition of the festival. This is not only a chance for them to showcase their skills, but also a real opportunity to reach a wide audience and promote their business,” says festival organizer Bedřich Snášel.

The festival will feature, among others:

“U Dřeváka Beer&Grill” – burgers with meat from a Czech farm, served in a pretzel bun from an artisan bakery;

“Patyzón” – the iconic “Jack Daniel’s” burger, or meat flambéed on whiskey;

“Bombastica” – three burger variants combining classic beef with exotic ingredients from around the world.

The Burger Street Festival will visit the Korona Shopping Center on August 30-31. Admission to the event is free, and you only pay for the best: good food.
