On the rooftop of Hotel Monopol in Wroclaw, an absolutely unique concert of traditional Cuban music takes place, organised by the Wroclaw-based Scena pod Regalem.

You will hear the most celebrated works from the legendary Buena Vista Social Club – full of rhythm, nostalgia and authentic Cuban sound.

Nando del Rio – vocals | Elio Rodriguez – conga | Roland Abreu – double bass | Orestes Ponce – piano | Taras Bakovskyi – saxophone

The concert is a musical journey through classic son cubano, bolero and traditional rhythms of Havana. Pieces include “Chan Chan”, “Dos Gardenias”, “El Cuarto de Tula”, “Candela” and “Besame Mucho”.
