What happens when beloved Polish melodies meet the rhythms of Cuba?
Cuba Meets Poland is a project bringing together Polish and Cuban musicians who are rediscovering the classics of Polish popular music. Familiar melodies and lyrics are given completely new arrangements inspired by son cubano, salsa, bolero, cha-cha-chá, Afro-Cuban music, and jazz.

During the premiere performance at Vertigo, the audience will hear Polish hits in unexpected, energetic interpretations – from subtle, nostalgic moments to irresistible Cuban rhythms that will make it hard to stay still.
It’s a meeting of two cultures, two musical traditions, and musicians who share a common language – music.
