Bonobo: Distance In Static Live
Bonobo live in Wrocław! Catch this multiple Grammy-nominated artist and his band on March 16, 2027 at Hala Stulecia!
The visual production for the concerts is by Pierre Claude, known for his work with Air, Gesaffelstein and Phoenix.
Bonobo, aka Simon Green, is without a doubt a legend — and not just of the electronic scene. He has billions of streams, albums in the Top 5 of the UK sales chart, over a million records sold, and numerous gold and silver single certifications. He has collaborated with artists such as Erykah Badu and Damon Albarn, and has been nominated multiple times for BRIT and GRAMMY awards — seven GRAMMY nominations in total, five of them in the dance/electronic categories, a feat matched only by a small handful of artists including The Chemical Brothers, Skrillex and Madonna.
His pioneering live shows — built around a full band, guest vocalists and immersive visual production — set new standards for how electronic music can work on stage. Bonobo has performed in front of millions of people around the world, selling out shows at prestigious venues such as Sydney Opera House, Alexandra Palace and Red Rocks Amphitheatre. He has also played the biggest festivals, including Glastonbury, Coachella, Sonar and Fuji Rock. His last tour included a co-headline slot at London’s Field Day alongside Aphex Twin and a historic, sold-out five-night residency at the Royal Albert Hall — the longest unbroken run of shows by a solo artist in the venue’s history, and the longest in the history of electronic music.
At the same time, his OUTLIER events and DJ sets keep Green at the centre of contemporary club culture, bringing together different generations of audiences in underground clubs and at festivals. In recent years he has curated lineups featuring artists such as Barry Can’t Swim, Sofia Kourtesis, salute, Kelly Lee Owens, Mall Grab, DJ Tennis, SG Lewis, Carlita, Elkka, HAAi, John Talabot and Paula Tape. His OUTLIER event for 15,000 people at Drumsheds in London was the fastest-selling event of the season. He has now set off on a new tour to promote his new album “Distance In Static,” released on the legendary Ninja Tune label. On the new record, Green collaborates with an impressive roster of artists including Arooj Aftab, Joy Crookes, Nilüfer Yanya, Ichiko Aoba, Nicole Miglis (Hundred Waters) and Aanya Martin. The album caps off more than 25 years of work by one of the most important voices in contemporary electronic music.
“I want to emphasize the idea that you can operate in more than one dimension,” Green explains. That duality — between live performer and DJ, introspective composer and dancefloor-focused producer — is at the heart of Bonobo’s work. All of his records and shows offer music full of depth, detail and emotion, at once beautiful and energetic.
After excellent shows in Poland in 2022 and a memorable, sold-out concert in Warsaw in 2017, we’ll get to experience it all again this March!
