Beksiński.Live – Multimedia Spectacular 2026

Following the success of previous editions, Beksiński.Live returns in 2026, inviting audiences to an extraordinary audiovisual spectacle that brings together visual art, live music and cutting-edge technology. The autumn edition will be presented in two cities: 20 September at COS Torwar in Warsaw and 8 October at Hala Stulecia in Wrocław.

The show once again proves that the work of Zdzisław Beksiński — one of the most celebrated Polish artists of the 20th century — remains as powerful and relevant as ever, continuing to inspire bold new interpretations. The multimedia format allows audiences to immerse themselves in the dreamlike world of the artist, filled with symbolism, tension and intense emotion.

At the heart of the spectacle are meticulously animated paintings, brought to life and set in motion. Combined with an elaborate stage design and dynamic lighting, they create a vivid, almost cinematic narrative. The musical layer of the show is composed by Michał Wasilewski and Kamil Zawiślak (Wishlake), who translate the distinctive atmosphere of Beksiński’s works into sound.

Taking the stage as featured performers are artists representing a wide range of musical sensibilities: Justyna Steczkowska, The Dumplings, Ralph Kaminski and Mery Spolsky. Their sets, prepared in specially designed arrangements by Wasilewski, Wishlake and Kuba Karaś, form an integral part of the show’s multi-layered narrative.

Beksiński.Live takes audiences through a full spectrum of emotions — from fascination and wonder, through unease and reflection, to moments of stillness and catharsis. It is an experience that goes beyond the traditional framework of a concert or exhibition, creating something entirely new at the intersection of art forms.

The project is created in partnership with the Historical Museum in Sanok, which holds the official collection of Beksiński’s works and makes them available for use in the show.
