Autumn Minerals, Jewellery & Gems Fair
Join us at the Minerals, Jewellery and Jewellery Products Fair – the largest event of its kind in Wrocław and one of the largest in Poland – on 24 and 25 October, Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at a NEW LOCATION: Czasoprzestrzeń, ul. Tramwajowa 1-3.
Wrocław will soon become a mecca for lovers of minerals and jewellery. Visitors can look forward to a wide selection of minerals and fossils, a rich offer of jewellery made of silver, gemstones and pearls, as well as components for creating your own unique accessories.
ATTRACTIONS:
Special exhibition from the “Treasures of Lower Silesia” series, presenting the most beautiful minerals of Lower Silesia, which will delight collectors and lovers of natural stones alike.
Sudecka Jesień – at the entrance to the hall you’ll find the “Sudecka Jesień” (Sudeten Autumn) collectors’ mineral exchange, organised in cooperation with the Sudeten Branch of the Polish Society of Friends of Earth Sciences: a tent village full of treasures that amaze with their natural beauty.
Stone drilling and polishing demonstration – see how decorative stones are drilled and polished, both ones brought from home and those bought at the fair. We’ll demonstrate a small saw at work and the processing of agates from Brazil, Mozambique and Botswana, plus a mini exhibition of stones before and after polishing, showing their fascinating transformation.
Agate cutting – a stand where, for a small fee, a professional cutter will slice your agates.
Gold panning – a specially prepared spot hides lots of flecks of gold. Are you up for the challenge that will make you a true prospector?
Workshops – jewellery-making workshops from scratch, led by RWShandmade. Participants will make their own jewellery – a bracelet or earrings.
Geozone – stands devoted to geological education, with educational games and workshops for children and adults alike.
Geolandia – a place created with children in mind. Under professional supervision, the youngest can spend time creatively – cutting, colouring, making bracelets and much more – while parents explore the fair at their leisure.
Contest – every visitor can take part in a draw for a valuable prize. Contest coupons will be added to tickets.
Relaxation zone – a moment of rest with cake and coffee.
