Around The Goths | DJ Bismu

On October 10, our klasztor takes on a dark mood.

It’s all thanks to the “Around The Goths” party. If you’re into Dark Independent sounds, this is the night for you.

We’re serving up a solid dose of post-punk, darkwave, and EBM.

It’s the perfect excuse to pull out your best black outfit and hit the dance floor.

On the speakers: tracks from artists including The Sisters Of Mercy, The Cure, Lebanon Hanover, She Past Away, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Depeche Mode, Joy Division, And One, Twin Tribes, She Wants Revenge, Type O Negative, Molchat Doma, and French Police.

Behind the decks:

DJ Bismu – a DJ and music producer, creator of the “Noc Mroku” (“Night of Darkness”) party series, serving up a wide dose of gothic sounds. Co-founder of the Lubelskie Wampiry collective. His musical work reaches far beyond one genre – he creates tracks blending post-punk, house, and EDM into intriguing compositions.

He has released the EP “Oddments,” which earned recognition within the gothic scene. Last year he also presented a post-punk cover of Mieczysław Fogg’s “Przy Kominku,” which appeared on the “Fogg in the Fog” compilation – a project blending classics with the dark aesthetic of contemporary alternative music.
