A Happy Connection — Olga Pashchenko & Wrocław Baroque Orchestra
Experience the elegant world of 18th-century classical music at the National Forum of Music in Wrocław. Pianist Olga Pashchenko performs on the historical fortepiano alongside the acclaimed Wrocław Baroque Orchestra in a programme spanning French Classicism and Viennese mastery.
The concert opens with a symphony by François-Joseph Gossec before moving into two rarely paired Mozart piano concertos: the groundbreaking “Jenamy” Concerto No. 9 and the graceful Concerto No. 12 in A major. Mozart himself described these works as “a happy medium between what is too easy and too difficult.”
Programme: F.-J. Gossec: Symphony in E flat major op. 12 no. 5 · W.A. Mozart: Piano Concerto No. 9 “Jenamy” · Divertimento in E flat major KV 113 · Piano Concerto No. 12 in A major KV 414
