34th Wroclaw Good Books Fair
The Wroclaw Good Books Fair has been held since 1992, originally as the “Good Book Publishers’ Meetings”, which took place in several cities including Gdańsk, Krakow and Warsaw. In Wroclaw, the event was first organised by the Ossolineum Publishing House, and later by Wydawnictwo Dolnośląskie. Both organisers and venues changed over the years – first the Wroclaw Opera building, then the Town Hall. The meetings survived only in the capital of Lower Silesia, first being renamed the Wroclaw Good Books Promotions, and in 2013 the Wroclaw Good Books Fair. Until 2015 the fair was organised by the Municipal Public Library; from 2016, the Wroclaw House of Literature took over (along with the Dobre Strony Children’s and Youth Book Fair). In 2019, WTDK merged with the Dobre Strony fair to form one December event.
